IS ZANZIBAR FOR ME?

Of Course it is! This trip is for divers of all levels as well as non-divers!
Zanzibar is a carefree island paradise where the scent of vanilla and cinnamon lingers in the air and white-sailed dhows leave shimmering trails in the turquoise Indian Ocean. But while Zanzibar is famous for its spicy tang and idyllic beaches, some of the most magical experiences you will have are diving in Zanzibar.

We will be running this trip in October, which is known to be the Humpback whale and Whale shark season.

QUALIFICATIONS?

Divers of all qualifications as well as non divers who would like to just join for the snorkelling are welcome to join us on this trip!

THE DIVING?

From exploring eerie ancient wrecks and braving night dives, to swimming with manatees and making friends with bottlenose dolphins, diving in Zanzibar is wonderfully diverse and utterly unforgettable. Surrounded by extraordinary underwater landscapes alive with strange and wonderful marine creatures, Zanzibar is a dream destination for scuba divers.  With average water temperatures of 27 degrees Celsius and visibility between 20 and 60 metres, it is a great diving destination throughout the year.

Trip Details:

This trip is made up of 8 days of beach, sun, touring and diving some of the most beautiful sights Africa has to offer.

WHERE WILL WE BE STAYING:

My Blue Hotel is situated in the splendid scenario of Nungwi, famous for its sunsets and for its sea. It is about 55 km far from the Stone Town airport and is easily accessible in about 60 minutes transfer. The Hotel reasserts the unmistakeable “sophisticated simplicity” of the famous Mosquito Blue Hotels and was built respecting the environment it is surrounded by to guarantee an excellent service. The island is developed in longitudinal manner and embraces an elegant and original tone to allow for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. As you get closer and closer to the equipped beach, you are overwhelmingly stunned by the many enchanting different shades of blues of the Indian Ocean and of the splendid white and fine sand, admiring a wonderful bay protected by a frame of rocks. The hotel is overlooking a calm and crystal clear sea that, unlike the rest of the island, is rarely interested in the phenomenon of the high tides.

Every room has a private small terrace or a private balcony facing a beautiful tropical garden including coconut palms and banana trees. The rooms are furnished in a boutique like decor and is equipped with mosquito net, wardrobe, mirror, desk, luggage holder, air conditioning, telephone, digital safe, LCD 33” television with international channels, minibar, hair dryer, make up mirror and iron (on request).
